dod/afm disable not working

i have a 2017 gmc sierra 1500 4.3L v6 elevation edition. i bought the i3 platinum tuner 8246 and after updating and downloading the ignition software i went to install the 87 octane tune. i modified the parameters and turned off dod/afm, moved the throttle response to 20% and added firm shift. the truck still shifts into 4 cylinder mode constantly i can see it on my screen and hear the difference with my after market exhaust. the other modifications may or may not have worked, hard to tell, not very noticeable if they did. please help!!

please post the file called info.xml from the i3 drive as well as the files from the tunes folder on the i3 drive.

My i3 platinum did the same thing with the afm deactivation tune not working, but after the fix from Mikel it worked flawlessly. Actually is saving me both fuel mileage and it's not using oil by having the afm tuned off. Also helps the trans from not constantly going in and out of 4 cylinder mode. Those who aren't familiar with the w-body gm cars with the LS4 5.3L v8 should know these eats transmissions. The i3 platinum was the best investment I could have made.

I don't think it turned mine off either? here is my info.xml. Can you tell from that?

CAGS is computer aided gear selection - aka skip-shift... for manual transmissions.. how it makes you have to go from 1st gear to 4th gear... if you have a manual transmission, you want to disable the CAGS setting.

Can a Range Device be used with the tuner? I think my car is kicking into 4 cylinders with or without the AFM disabled

Yes it can, but....if its off its off.
Post the last tune written from the device.

I just found out that with the vehicle speed limiter set to off, it limited my top speed to 134mph. once I set it to speed limit on it does not limit the speed? Does this mean that to get the AFM/DOD to turn off I need to set it to ON?

sorry it took so long for me to reply... i have been trying to get this fixed for months now, think i got it in june... all i do is send them my latest tune.. then they say try this, and it doesnt work. any way, here is the most recent custom update i was sent to try and turn off my AFM/DOD and the current tune on the truck. no change at all.. remember its a 2017 gmc sierra 4.3L v6 NOT V8
