new update wont download

Hello to all... I need some help. Last night I downlaoded the new update to my Pred and it stop half way and told me can not finish downlaod. Now my Pred turns on with an error mess. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Check the file size that you downloaded, I had one that was only 200K instead of over 800K. There is help on the main DS Downloader software screen for corrupt predators. Follow the instructions and you should be fine: The message will say something like this: If your Predator Displays "Application is missing or corrupt" or "Tool Requires a CROM file before use" Click HERE.

Then you will see these instructions... FOLLOW THEM TO THE LETTER!!!:

If you are getting an "Application is Missing or Corrupt" message, that means that the software installed on your Predator needs to be repaired. This is not a big issue, but it does require some steps because the Predator Auto-Detection cannot work with a Predator in this state.


Follow these precise steps to fix a Predator with an "Application Missing or Corrupt" message:


1. Download and install the latest DiabloSport Downloader from Support Downloads (if you have not already done so).
2. Download the latest CROM file for your predator from Support Downloads (if you have not already done so). Save the file to a location that you can find it in later.
3. Connect the Predator to the PC but do NOT power the Predator on yet.
4. Run the DiabloSport Downloader on your PC.
5. On the Options menu, make sure that Auto Detect is un-checked. If it is checked, click it to un-check it. You must do this because Auto Detect cannot succeed with a corrupt Predator.

6. Click on the "Express Tune Mode" tab at the bottom.
7. Select the appropriate COM port and baud rate settings on the toolbar (the defaults are probably correct, but these may need tweaking).
8. Click on the "Send CROM file to Predator" button.





9. Select the CROM file that you downloaded earlier.
10. Now power up the Predator.
11. After a couple of minutes your Predator should reboot and no longer be corrupt.

No problem... just make sure that the CROM file is not corrupt. I would try downloading it again just in case. I didn't realize that my download had failed and I only had the first 200k. So when I uploaded the file to the Predator, all went fine until it rebooted, then *POOF* "Application is missing or corrupt".

I tried and it did not work... it gets to 2563 of 7193 and then it stops and reads downlaod failed. then i tried install the last update, i think it is r01 and the same thing happened. it gets to 2563 of 7019 and then it stops. i redownloaded the update on my laptop. it always stops at the same part. any other idea's... thank you

file size on the .crom file after you download it?
Are you downloading from a wireless connection?

Mike....I live close to Boca. I met a guy at the magnolina car show this weekend that recommended I have my magnum custom tuned at Diablosport. If possible, what would it cost?

Mike, thank yo so much for the sendng me the new update. IT WORKED!!! and the new update is great... you guys rock... thnak you
