dod/afm disable not working

installed the tune you posted. as is. i didnt modify any of the parameters. am i doing something wrong? because it didnt do anything. he is the files after i loaded that tune.

you sure you loaded the custom tune?
The LTW does not match what Lew posted for you.

yeah, you don't have the custom tune installed... if you did, it would be off...

i selected custom tune and installed it. i saved the link for that tune and than uploaded it to my tuner. it has to be something im doing incorrectly or my tuner is malfunctioning. also is there a certain program the tune files should be saved as? (adobe, word, etc..)

decided to try the tune again only this time i restored the factory set up and than applied the tune. havent gone for a test drive yet to see if it works but here is my tunes after i tried again.

I just found out that with the vehicle speed limiter set to off, it limited my top speed to 134mph. once I set it to speed limit on it does not limit the speed? Does this mean that to get the AFM/DOD to turn off I need to set it to ON?

Frank... need a copy of the ECM original backup stock tune from the tool...

drove the truck today and it is still going into 4 cylinder mode just as much as before. doesnt appear to have made a difference. i know it is because it says it on the dash and i can hear it in the exhaust when its in 4cyl mode, sounds like a jake brake. i feel like the cylinder deactivation makes the truck feel like its confused when driving. jerky and constantly trying to switch back and forth.. any other suggestion?

Because it is indeed off in that tune.

i did not. i left it exactly as is. Disabling the AFM/DOD is supposed to keep it from going into 4cyl mode entirely, correct?

Well my AFM sounds like its off now but my speed limiter is back? When I try to modify parameters and turn it back off the tuner locks up?

Corvettes dont have a speed limiter stock, so using the tool to mess with the limiter can in some cases enable a limiter.

Go back to stock then reload the tune without adjusting the speed limiter...
