u7158 lightning-8r11.crom not working

I have a Predator that I bought brandnew in 2005 for my 03 lightning. Everything has been good with the unit until now. Ive been waiting a while to have the ability to have more than one tune on the unit, but come to find out I have an old revision that cant handle the updated software. I find that pretty unacceptable, especially since I paid the same price as everyone else did. So not only am I stuck with an obsolete product, but there is nothing that the manufacturer will do about it. Am I miossing something or am I screwed here?

wow no one wanted to step up and try to answer that one huh. Thats cool, I guess I should have expected this much, especially when I have a POS outdated tuner. Looks like Ill be changing over to the SCT 3, thanks Diablo

Unfortunately there were different boards being used by the previous owners of the company, and some of these boards are not compatible with the new update that supports 5 custom tunes.

As for no reply, I apologize, as I was out of the office yesterday when you posted this and my coworkers that normally keep up this part of the forum were slammed as a result.

wow thanks for the reply but Im still left with a product that was advertised as being able to hold multiple tunes when It cant.
