Hard shift/delay when passing 2012 Ram 6sp

Post by Smokin151 »

I installed the 87 mpg tune, when on highway and throttle down I get a delay and then bang when going into gear. Any fix for this, or is there relearn procedure for shift points and adaptive values?

Is this happening during a "WOT" wide open throttle shift? Happens under light throttle shifts as well? Is this for each gear or just select?

I have the same problem with my 2011 ram 1500. I put it back to stock tune and I still have the same problem. I'm not exactly sure if the stock tune is actually installed but it started the same day that I installed the tune. Wide open throttle bogs down then bam it goes.also have the same problem when I take it from Park to drive. It has a taste before going into drive.

It's probably the accumulator pistons in the trans valve body destroying themselves.
