From TJ to JKU?

I'm in the market for a new Jeep. It would be a DD as well as light wheeler. What I'm stuck on is whether I should stick to looking for a JK or if I should entertain getting a JKU. I love the tight turning radius of my TJ and am afraid the JKU will feel more like a traditional car or crossover than a Jeep. I'm married without kids - kids are unlikely but an outside possibility in the future. So it's not like I need the space. But obviously the extra room would be great for car camping or for extended overland trips. I'd really like to start making long trips out West as my wife and I both love to hike.tweakbox appvalley https://vlc.onl/


I'm sure plenty of folks have jumped from a tiny 2 door to a large 4 door? What's your take on it?

I do a good bit of tuning on JKs and I haven't noticed an issue with JKUs. Most of them are on 38s or larger and some are one ton swapped on 40s and I don't ever notice that I'm having trouble parking them in a "normal" parking spot.
