Will there ever be support for chrome os?

I recently bought a trinity t2 for black friday and a small cheap $100 laptop, but there was a small problem apparently to download the updater to a laptop you need windows and not a chrome os.

I know i can update it using my wifi but i need the laptop just in case something goes wrong with it in the process.

No... need to have a Windows pc/laptop... won't work on a chrome/android tablet...
