PO441OPD code on brand new Procharger on my RT

Post by back272 »

Got a 2010 Challenger RT- just had it overhauled with a Procharger Supercharger. Put only 125 miles on her and tonight I noticed the MIL with that code.
Any ideas out there? The gas cap seems to be in lock down. The only thing I have done so far is add 3 ounces of coolant cause we had some burping.
Any feedback would be appreciated
I received the Diablo i3 but frankly don’t know what to do with it as of yet. Thanks

you're going to have to get a custom tune done for that procharger setup... there is no preset supercharger tune on the intune for that setup.. so you'll need to contact a dodge CMR tuner and get a custom tune done for your setup...

Which kit did you go with? I'm a CMR dealer for Mopar and can help you.

We took it in and there was a random code misfire- changed out all spark plugs put in iridium and did a compression test- everything came back "healthy" and took it home- next day just a cold start and the random misfire engine check back on. So the installer thinks that there is just some tweeking that needs to be done with the intune custom tune- Feels that the computer is catching something random that is not related to anything mechanical, but more technology. He seems to think that with some collaboration with Procharger and some work with the custom tune should correct itself- Not sure how I feel about this, since at this point, a check engine light tells me my car is not reliable. Anyone else run into this issue? I hope I explained that ok

Post your back up, last written tune and a data log please, I'll look through it. 9/10 times a supplied tune is a "get by" tune until you have it professionally tuned to be dialed in to your vehicle specifically.

The P0441 could be a loose gas cap...
Double check everything under hood, especially plug wires and coil connectors, and anything you disconnected or removed for the install.

Update- the code is a random misfire P0300 and both the tech from performance shop and installer say it is a Tuning issue with the hand held i3. We never had a single problem with this car. Ever. Now we have new iridium spark plugs, the compression test showed all pistons are firing correctly. They both agree the engine is healthy-but we have a code, cannot drive it until ProCharger can read it and now the self-start key fob is starting the engine and shutting off after 5seconds. Thinking this is not healthy. Thoughts or suggestions are welcome and needed

You've checked and confirmed that the vehicle has zero vacuum leaks? What are the plugs gapped to?

And you have confirmed that the vehicle as no boost/vacuum leaks? Plugs are set to appropriate gap assuming you've pulled them and checked since the P0300 showed up.....?
