i3 won't finish update!!

After checking for updates the device is saying that "Updates are available, would you like to download and install now?" Once I start the updating it cycles through to about 35% then starts over and cycles to 36% then starts over and cycles to 26% then it goes straight to the "Do you agree with these terms?" acknowledgement. After I click the green yes button the device locks up. I unplugged the device waited a few minutes then plugged it back in and went through the update process again and came up wit the same result. It seems the device is always saying there are updates but never finishes the update process. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.vidmate mobdro word counter

Was this resolved? Update directly over Mac seemed to have worked fine.
