New i3 Plat for 05 RAM 1500

Post by 05FLRAM »

2005 RAM1500 5.7 / 1 owner / built in 12/04 / assembled in Canada, bought new here in FL.

Updated the unit first thing out of the box, it said complete after just a minute or two. Took it to the truck and did a backup of the factory tune first. Next thing is that unit is now in recovery mode, and nothing I have tried is able to resolve this.
Tuner also read/reads "some ECUs are unsupported on this vehicle, and it does not have any of the canned diablo tunes (EasyTune options not avail). Took the unit back to the PC and updated device chose update (based on screen advising me about the ECUs), and this changed nothing.
On my last attempt it did say there was an failure and an error log was being generated before it rebooted...but there is no error log to be found that I can find.
FWIW it did read my VIN properly.

Is the truck OK?
No issues, starts and drives fine, etc?
