U7170 doesn't like my truck

I bougth a U7170 off e-bay and when I hooked up to my 2002 7.3 psd it says truck not in data base or something like that. It has
V.8r01
Calid is TNAA452
Serial # dooccoo
born 06/20/2007
I thought it was for any '99 to 03 7.3 psd. Why can't I program mine????
It is not vin- locked. What do I need to do???

Update your tuner to the lateset revision and you should be covered.
