2007 GMC Yukon Denali 6.2 question

Post by dsteber »

Hello all. First off, I am a newB to DiabloSport. I had been using the SCT for my 08 Mustang. I have purchased the Predator for my 6.2 Denali. I loaded it up yesterday with no problems. I loaded the performance tune with 93 Octane. Honestly, I really didn't notice that much difference. With the SCT, it was like night and day. The only thing I can notice on my Denali is the throttle lag is gone. I am now wondering if I did something wrong. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Well you are comparing apples to oranges really.
The factory GM calibrations are getting better and better, Ford still has more room for improvements in their factory cals.
Plus 20 hp in a 3000lbs car will "feel" much better than 20hp in a lead sled like the denali, no pun intended.

To an extent yes, but some vehicles will respond differently in different cases...either way, the extra power is there.

Dial in your LTFT's and you'll see more of a difference. You want them to hang around 0 to -2. Do some logging to see where your at and try adjusting then. It will smooth out your power band, might even give you a little extra mpg.
