i3 tune parameter tune question

Post by 2012challengerrt74 »

So I'm fairly new to the system so here is my question....so there is two options at first easy tune or advanced tune. I first picked easy and I put the 93 Octane tune in my 12 Challenger RT. (it didnt have any parameter options on this, just install) then I did advanced tune to boost the throttle and bump up rev limiter . Also to bump up the mph option then hit apply tune. So my question is did these advance tune options go on top of the 93 octane tune or is this a separate advanced tune?? if its a separate tune then can/should I bump up my timing to match the 93 octane tune as it says timing rate is in the middle at 0 or is this just what the 93 octane tune timing is at anyway?? anyone know what a safe bump in timing would be?? no mods other then a catback and coldair intake. Thanks in advance for your help.

every flash starts with an erase, nothing is stacking, you erase, write a new tune, rinse and repeat :)

Thanks, called tech support and worked it out with them . Apparently I was skipping a step on picking which tune in the advanced tuning and can then adjust parameters for that tune. I picked the diablo tune which they stated is the 93 octane tune and then bumped up the parameters I wanted increased. Thanks for the help!
