First things first, Thank you, mikel for manually activating my forums account. One thing though, it says if you have a problem activating your account, contact a moderator. Well, the problem there is that you can't contact a mod, unless you have an activated account. A weird catch 22. I had to do some detective work and Google your name and found you on LinkedIn, then look for your email. LOL. All good now, but maybe they could set it up to where it says "contact a moderator at [email protected]" or whatever?
Anyways, on to my problem. I just got a new Intune i3. It absolutely refuses to connect to my WiFi. It sees it, but it just won't connect. I'm 10,000% sure I'm putting the correct password in. I've had the same password for 10 years. Everything else in my house, computers, phones, firesticks, smart plugs, etc etc connect to my WiFi absolutely fine. I'm sitting 10 feet from my access point, so I know it has strong signal. I have tried about 10x and on different days. Updated the device via USB, still no go. Now here's where it gets weird... it'll connect to my neighbor's WiFi, no problem, so I know the unit is working. There's just something about MY WiFi that it doesn't like. I have a TP-Link M5 mesh system, with the latest firmware. I even tried shutting off all the firewalls and antivirus on the router, just to see. Still no go. Like I said, anything and everything else connects, so I'm not sure why the i3 just won't. Is there some kind of unique requirement it has to "see" in order to connect (such as WPA2 vs. WPA or TKIP vs. AES)?
i3 refuses to connect to my WiFi.

Re: i3 refuses to connect to my WiFi.
It is a very basic wifi chip and there are for sure certain network types it may just not agree with.
I will have to dig to get a more in depth explanation than that.
Do you have regular access to a Mac or PC you can use for the updates?
