U7193 - XMODEM TIMEOUT

I can't get my tuner to communicate with the interface. I follow the instructions per your web page and I continue to get the same thing. "XMODEM TIMEOUT" What should my baudrate be for my com port? Could that be the problem? My current setting is 57600. Help!!!!!

It sounds like there is a COM port issue.
If you are using a serial cable, it is usually COM1, but if it is a serial to USB, the computer usually assigns it to COM4, 5 or 6.
Check the device manager to see where the cable is assigned to.
You are using the correct baud rate.

Thanks for the help I got it to work. Is there an advantage to having my unit updated to the 2.07 Rev. or is the 2.05 going to do the same thing for me? Also, do you recommend a custom tune or do I not have enough mods to warrant a custom tune?

You will want to update that Predator to the 2.10 revision, as we have improved the tunes in the trucks for better mileage.
You should not need a custom tune for those mods.

That's great news about getting better mileage. How do I go about getting the new software update and what is the cost?

As long as you have a copy of your original proof of purchase receipt, it will cost only the price of shipping.
No receipt, $99.

Give us a call to get an RMA# to send the tool in for the update.
