Database error

So i brought a used diablosport predator 2 for my 2014 Cadillac cts 3.6L last week. When I plug the tuner into the car and follow the instructions, it keeps saying database error, update tuner. I called Diablosport today and they helped me update the device through the update agent and he said all the tuner has been updated. However when Im still getting the database error and update tuner message when I try to upload the tune to the car.

So the person I talked to through diablosport support said something must be internal wrong with the device. Is their anything else I can try that may work? I believe I followed all the steps on trying to get it to work but maybe I'm doing something wrong. Diablosport did confirm that it's the correct tuner for the car
