rough idle then dies w/ intune.

Post by everettzj »

Hello,

I have a 2014 Chrysler 300s 5.7 that I have tried to upload a tune into three times in a row I end up with rough idle then the engine dies, I reinstall the stock tune and the motor runs just fine. I cant seem to find a "patch" for my 300. its almost like the tuner is loading a non VVT tune into the pcm. Any help/input would be greatly appreciated! also ive updated my intune twice.

Thank you!

are you making any adjustments to the tune when you install it?
Rev limit in neutral specifically?

Thanks

I'm currently having the same issue (2013 300s 5.7 liter). What did you end up doing to correct the problem?

No, I'm not adjusting anything. I tried the easy tune and advanced. The only thing I adjust in advanced is MDS off and increase throttle sensitivity to 10.

please load the tune then post the last tune written from the tunes folder on the i3 drive here before returning to stock.

does it idle rough in P/N and D, or just in D?

There are no tunes in the tunes folder but they do come up in the i3 when I choose a tune. I included the two log files. With the 93 octane "DiabloTune" the car runs rough and idles for approximately 30 seconds then shuts off in P. Doesn't run long enough to move the vehicle. 2013 Chrysler 300S 5.7 liter Hemi

Okay, I just can't get it right. The "tune" folder is empty. There was a folder with my VIN number and a tune once upon a time but now it's gone. Guess the tune is erased once I revert back to the backup tune. I had to revert back to the backup tune so the vehicle would run. I understand now, I have to have one of the canned tunes installed to be able to pull a tune from the i3. I still can't upload an attachment to this thread.
