U7130 will not install on 05 CTD.

Hey everyone, I'm new here and I just got my combo today. Read through everything and then tried the Predator first. It's telling me it is "unable to read vehicle type". I've turned off every possible voltage draw, even pulled added fuses, and turned of my cell. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You did have the key on the ON position? Not started but in the "on" position.

Yes it was just "on" not running. I have even downloaded and installed the latest update 9r01 and it still gives me "unable to read vehicle type (1)" This is frustrating.

Did you try installing it with the older revision?

Yes, it came with 8r29. Gave me the same message. Talked to a rep today and have now sent for a RMA.

OK, sounds like a hardware issue.
We'll fix or replace it....

Hey Mike! I sent in the form for a RMA on Thursday and within 5mins. I had my conformation email telling me that they had received the form, but I still haven't gotten a number yet. Any help?
