since you only have the 1 performance tune, that tune is made for 91 octane or higher...

If I install the performance tune will I be able to go in and modify that tune and see how Diablosport has set it up?

yes, you can go into "Modify Tune" and adjust certain parameters...

but nope - you won't see what they are currently set at....

when you go in to modify the parameters, the adjustment sliders are all at 0... you can adjust positive or negative percentages... some things may be an on/off setting...

but it won't show you the "values" that the tunes are set to already...

for example... if timing is advanced in the tune to 26 degrees, it won't show you that... you'll get an adjustment slider, set at 0, and you can adjust the timing +/- a percentage... +2% would add 2% to 26 degrees, making the adjusted value in the tune be 26.53 degrees - but again, it doesn't show you that actual value on the screen...

everything is in percentages...


in order to see what the actual changes are from stock to the Diablo tune, the CMR dealer tuning software would need to be used to compare the 2 tune files - that is the only way to see the actual numbers/values of what was changed to what.

I have a 7198 and mine has an 87 Predator tune and a 93 octane Predator tune . My factory tune is saved. The booklet explains how to do it ,both backing up original tune and installing 1 of the Predator tunes.
I need help on modifying my Predator 87 oct. tune. I need to dial back my LTFT 2 points.

hook up your predator.. select the same tune you installed before (87 octane tune), then choose Modify Tune...

scroll down to fuel injectors > injector slope

then go to the left 2 clicks, till it shows -2%... press the center enter button to save the ajustment...

press the ESC key a couple times - it will ask you "install tune now?" - select yes and the tune will install with the slope adjustment.

Is your 87 octane tune called Factory and your 93 octane tune called Performance on your predator screen on the U7198??

As an example I can modify my factory tune for trans pressure up to 25. If I load the performance tune it increases the shift pressure so if I modify the performance tune can I then increase it another 25 % beyord what Diablosport increases it in the performance tune. Sorry for the silly questions, a manual with explainations would have helped.

don't have tranny support on mine... so I have no idea... I can't adjust anything for the tranny...
