inTune i2 update failed

Hi! I tried to update my i2 (part #i2012) before using it with Chrysler 300C 5.7 Hemi '06. Downloaded Ignition updater and plugged programmer in. Found new updates, would u like to install? Yes. After 15/19 downloads program stops with error message "Not enough room on device for update file /DCX_TUNES.itf" This happens every time, no matter MacOS or Windows. Device is practically empty, no tunes or log files in it, 103Mb free space. Where is the problem, how to make it work? :lamer:

open the folder called runtime and delete the contents, then run update agent and see if that resolves it.

Mike thanks for your reply! Also contacted Holley/Diablo support they gave me the same advise. I already tried that but it didn't solve the issue. Then I made a call to Holley Technical Support... operator couldn't think of anything else but to format disk drive. They don't support i2 anymore. Welp, did that with no luck.

Seems like successful update with Ignition takes 135,8Mb off the drive. That is the size of group_update1.itfg file. Device has 103,6Mb free space capacity so practically it is impossible to update it. :crashing:

there has to be something on the drive taking up space.

im literally having the same issue. file size is too big to download. is there any way to fix this issue?

I think not. There is nothing excessive on the drive taking up space only necessary (hidden) files and empty folders. Update file has grown over the years and i2 doesn't meet the requirements. That is my conclusion, unless otherwise specified.

I wonder if there's a way to reset it completely or have a custom file sent over that will actually fit on the device....

i2 and i3 use the same size drive. Its nothing to do with legacy, etc.

Please post the info.xml file from each device here.

this device is missing the installer and will not function to load updates unfortunately if that is missing.

I see. It's a piece of code, is it possible to get it from somewhere? Or should I just trash the tuner?
