Having Problems Loading u7135-9r04

Post by KRAZZZI »

I have an 06 Charger RT, had 9r03 version with no problems. It says that I need the latest update and refers me to www.diablosports.com/dcx, then gives my calid#.

Also, i tried to install latest downloader Ver. 1.9.9.4, but get an error saying it cant overwrite msvcp71.dll in the system file, i tried to delete but does allow me access. I went with the prior version again and that installed fine. Not sure what the heck is going on, never had problem with any updates since release of product.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Did John make 1.9.9.4 a production release? If not, they might not be supporting it. If you're going to use it anyway try this.

I think the files are in Windows\system32. You cannot delete them. You can rename them :). Do something like rename msvcp71.dll -> msvcp71.dll.orig

Note that I said files. While you're there rename msvcr71.dll too. You just haven't got to that one yet.

I didnt realize the second file. I renamed the original and i thought i was receiving the same error on the same file, but it was the above file that came up. I didnt catch the 'r' in it. Worked like a champ. Thanks :)

Now if I can only get the predator to download into my charger, we'll be good.

The calibration update should be no prob once you have DSDL up and running, just connect it, make sure the tool is on 9r04, then do the cal update.

I have a feeling it is trying to replace a file that is already there, thus the fact that ignoring it allows it to finish the install...
