Already paired

Post by SRT8AG »

Hello,

New to the forum, please forgive me if this has already been discussed.

I purchased a new-to-me 2012 SRT8 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I knew it had already been tuned with a Diablosport (had a decal on the back). I do not have the handheld and had assumed it was reverted back to stock before it was traded in. I purchased an i3, updated the unit, and went to tune, and received the following message: One of the ECU's in this vehicle has been previously tuned with a diablo product.
Please restore it to stock condition and then begin anew.

My question is, how do I revert to stock without the originally used unit to add my own on the vehicle?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the quick response! I already updated the i3 before attempting to pair to the Jeep; are you saying I should now update once again?

I got it to work. It calibrated and let me install a tune, but I only saw an option for a 91 octane tune and to modify stock; isn’t there usually an option for a 93 octane and 93 with CAI canned tune?
