2008 SE Plus Charger with 3.5L 4 speed (automatic) and 18" stock rims.
I did some baseline 0-60 runs using a video camera and just stomping it.
Imported the video into movie maker because it resolves to the 1/100th of a second. (Split the video as soon as the tach moves, stop timer as soon as the needle hits 60 mph) Very consistent runs, not varying more than 1/10th of a second. (4 runs)
I have a aFe stage II CAI and Magnaflow exhaust. I recorded several consistent 7.7 second runs.
Installed 93 tune, running 93 octane. Drove it for awhile, noticed the car needed to recalibrate itself, as it was less responsive to throttle input until a few WOT runs.
Same temps, same stretch of pavement, same time of day, same weight, same car and driver. 7.7 second consistent runs, same as stock.
At this point, I'm rather disappointed in my purchase, as there is no discernible difference from stock to 93 tune.
I'm sure the tune is active, as I have yet to reduce the idle while I motor around town doing 40mph with no throttle input.
I've recently learned (after purchase) that the 4 speed is not at all supported. Is this the reason for the lack of change in performance?
I'm not expecting to gain a Hemi, but I would expect a noticeable change in 0-60 times.
What am I missing here?
08 3.5L with 4 speed, does nothing.

Maybe bad gas causing KR, try doing some logging to see if there is KR present...

You can't time it like that. The speedo is slow, the tach is slower. Do you have an EVIC and steering wheel controls? If you do use the cars 0-60 timer.
I'm getting 2.5* ST retard around 6k rpms, it drops from there to .5* at 6500, it maxes out at the next gear grab at 4* st retard.
About the same with the 91 tune. Is this bad gas? I'd think the 91 tune would help.
No catch can, around 3k miles on it.
I don't have all that fancy EVIC stuff, wish I did!
All I can do is compare baseline apples to apples. While the needles may be slow, I'm guessing they're consistently slow.....
What's the difference between the two KNK sensors? st/lt short term/ long term maybe... just guessing, couldn't find anything on the different parameters.
Thank you for any help I can get with this.

Try different fuel first...

Good fuel seems hard to come by in Upstate NY. Is 10% ethanol and the mandated "clean air gasoline" part of the problem? Tried a few different stations and brands, anywhere from 3.5-7* retard on the 91 tune with 93 gas.
Apparently Mobil is about the only one that doesn't have the 10% ethanol here (according to dubious sources...) will try that soon, I hope it does the trick.
On another note: the 4 speed seems to shift different on tunes other than stock, and not in a good way. I notice a shudder from 1st to 2nd under light throttle conditions, easily reproducible, except with the stock tune. This transmission (I've had same model in different vehicles) tends to do some strange things once in awhile, even without tune. (surge after complete stop, shift like it has a bad u-joint once in awhile)
Any chance on support for the 4 speed? I'm still not sold on this product for the 4 speed, due to no transmission parameters supported.

As a fellow upstate New Yorker, I was wondering the same thing about the 10% ethanol; although if fuel is advertised as 93 octane, it should be 93 octane, regardless of additives. Incidentally, I get my gas at Mobil (in and around Albany) and all those stations have the 10% ethanol sticker on their pumps. I haven't tried the data logging thing but I'm concerned about the knock retard you're getting. As for the tranny, I agree it's a real clunky animal when it's not warmed up yet, but once it's warm, I haven't experienced any of those symptoms. Also, according to a response from DiabloSport on another forum here, it sounds like the canned performance tune does increase shift firmness on the 4-speeds (I have felt it); it's just that we can't adjust it as a separate parameter. I do agree, however, that they should come out with an update that allows us to adjust this and the other parameters the 5-speeders can, with the exception of Autostick features, of course.
Well, all the Mobil's I've found are 10%
I agree, it seems to have firmed up the shifts, I think that's the shudder I get under light throttle. Not a bad shudder, just different.
I got the correct line for my homemade (I'm a machinist) catch can and install that soon, I'm hoping that's part of the problem.
I need to re-run my baseline data, then get some with the predator.
There is a difference in the feel, I just need hard data to back it up.
