InTune i3 "vehicle not currently supported"

I just got a inTune i3 and am trying to tune Mt 2012 Ram 1500 and tried updating the unit and it tells me there is no updates. I try to then tune my vehicle and it says "vehicle not currently supported, check for update".

It will read my VIN and tell vehicle info like I have read to check on other posts but still won't work...

Yes, I have tried to update the device many times and each time it says "no updates" on my computer as well as wifi.

I called and spoke with someone about it and they said the device I have is for RIPP superchargers only, but the guy I bought it from said that he had wiped the RIPP tunes and uploaded a universal version?

I also tried plugging it into a Jeep and got the same "not supported, needs update" and and chevy 3500 and got the message "this vehicle is currently unsupported, but there are control units that can be read". So it obviously picked up something different from the chevy.

Hmm, no such process exists.

This device will only work on Jeeps and then will only have tunes for the RIPP kits.

So I plugged it into a Jeep and it was giving me the same "needs update" and then when I try updating it doesn't have any updates. Will it only recognize a Jeep with a RIPP?

It seemed to like the chevy I plugged it into more than any other vehicle I tried.

according to the device, last time you updated on the 24th, it had last been connected to a 2012 Ram where its looking for an update it wont get. I dont see any info relating to it having been connected to a Jeep Wrangler.
