Preadator and Power Puck..

Sometimes I don't want to run my puck and was wondering if everytime I want to toggle it off do I have to switch from a stacker tune to a non stacker tune? Does it hurt to drive with a stacker tune with the puck turned off? How about the other way around as well? (non stacker with the puck on?). Not tyring to be difficult, just curious.... Also it seems like I get more smoke from a non stacker tune with the puck off, why???

the puck is a presure only box,the stacker tunes dont add any pres,u can run the pred on a stacker without the puck no prob,u can also run a non stacker tune and use the puck but the rail pres may get high,ive seen over 25k using a non stacker tune and a pres box,the 03-04s dont have the injector problems the new ones do,u may cause injector failure if u run the non staker and the puck on high all the time and running her hard.

K, that about sums it up. I notice better throttle response with the puck on. Is it me or is it all in my head?

its not in your head. those pucks work really nice. They give great throttler response. Driving my brothers 07 with a puck only and my 05 with pred only. his feels lighter if that is a good way to say it. But I have more power once we get going. I think the puck really helps out at low end, they help all over but very noticeable at low end. Thats my experience anyway.
