PC COM Problem

Tried Uploading a Tune to my PC at work. Used standard serial cable and appropriate power adapter. Set to COM 1, baurate of 57600. No communication. Tried COM 2 setup, same thing. Any ideas?

I may be wrong as I don't have mine with me to connect & verify, but I think the baud rate should be 115,200.

Are you using the E40 PC interface software? If not, it can be downloaded from this site.

Yep, lol, it so frustrating the only thing I can thing of is a problem with the cable or baudrate

Actually should be using 99-02 PC interface, not E40...

Oh yeah, well let me correct myself, I am using the correct interface as I threw the one I used at home on a disk and brought it to work with me.

OK, if it is not a straight through type serial cable, it will not work.
Also, you should be able to see what com port it is on in the device manager.
Baud rate should be set to 57600.

If you continue to have issues, i would suggest a USB to serial cable.
