“This vehicle is currently not supported” when pressing tune button.

Hello everyone,
Unfortunately my first post and reason I’m here has to do with the dreaded “This vehicle is not currently supported” screen on the i3 device. I’m brand new to the device and custom tune community it’s been challenging but very rewarding. So far I have verified the device can pull up the vehicles vin per advice of another post to rule out a communication problem. I have updated the device from the computer as well as via Wi-Fi from the device to no avail. Currently I am waiting for a reply from Holley I guess there is no direct Diablosport support chat or line anymore at least none that I could find. If anyone has any advice I would sure appreciate it. Regardless I will continue to update with any progress or the solution I found work for me.

it should just be asking for an update.....one note, remove the push button and insert the key for proper communication.

What do you mean by push button? My car has the plastic rectangle key.

OK, so the tune is loaded to the car, but the device wont talk to tit at all.

Well, do you have a different vehicle you can connect to and see if it reads codes or live data?
that will tell us if its the device or the charger...

I have an 06 ram I went and read the vin off of and it worked so from the sounds of it I have an issue with the car then?

most likely, yes. Next thing to do would be to try a different scanner/device on the charger and see if it can communicate. If not....time to fix whatever is going on there.

Hooked my launch x-431v+ scan tool on it and it is able to communicate and pulled up a bunch of codes I’m still going to try and talk to someone at Diablo and see if it’s the device or something got corrupted idk.. grasping at straws here I really am not to happy about buying another one only for it to happen again but I just don’t see how it’s the car when this other device works just fine. Anyways thanks.

Alright y’all, after getting ahold of Holley support I was able to clear updates and clear the registry and it finally updated correctly and it working again. The amount of stress and hopelessness was insane. I strongly recommend to anyone who is having this issue to contact them first before diving into the harness or condemning the ecm. Thank you Mike for the support and all the replies!
