New PCM/i3 Questions

Post by DiabloRam57 »

Received the unlocked PCM/i3 combo for my '22 Ram recently, updated and then installed the 93 octane tune. I have to say that I am underwhelmed. Having installed Diablo products on 3 Dodge/Ram vehicles before, I was expecting more. Truck didn't really feel like it had any more power after the install, though the transmission shifting is much improved. And it took multiple attempts for the "MDS OFF" function to take. My questions are:

1) What does it take to turn the AS/S off? I have tried both On and Off in the settings, and it hasn't worked. Is this just a setting that is under development?

2) When I adjust parameters individually and then save, does it overwrite the Standard Tune that I installed? Or does it keep the 93 Tune and edit just those selections that I made?

1. Setting it to OFF should disable it.
2. If you go to the modify param menu without selecting a tune, it applies your changes t whatever the last tune you loaded was.

Load the tune wit ESS disabled then pot the last tune written here and we'll check it out.

What octane fuel are you running?

I am running the 93 Octane tune. I tried loading the tune with the AS/S turned off, no dice. Then I ran through it again, this time pushing the AS/S button to "off" every time I turned the truck back on during the tune sequence, it still didn't take. There may be another step I'm missing, but it seems simple enough. The only other manual parameters I have adjusted are MDS Off, and added some throttle boost.

I posted the Last TCM/PCM Written tunes below, let me know what you find.

Thanks,

- Jeff

ES S is disabled here. L:oad this custom tune to the device then to the car and reset all params when you load it so the device doesnt apply any changes to this file.

Loaded your tune to the truck, AS/S is off and stays off. MDS is off also. Thanks for your help!
