Idle speed parameter adjust not working correctly

Post by heinz57 »

I am trying to adjust the idle speed up by 50 rpm increments, @ 50rpms there is no noticable idle increase, but at 100rpms the idle goes from around 650rpms to 1400rpms. This does not seem right.

Brand new I3 arrived today (Aug 31). Primary reason for this purchase was to raise the idle by 200 RPM in my 5.7 Dodge truck.

Unboxed, updated software, have been trying to load a tune in order to set Idle speed for several hours.
I see no options to do so. Tried loading several different tunes first, trued "Modify Parameters" first, then select modify parameters however, there are no parameters to modify for Idle speed. Only Tire size, Spark, and a PCU selection which gives no further parameters.

Is it possible that I am on an update that others describe here where the options are not present?

I will call the tech support number in the morning.

It could very well be operator error but I could not find any details regarding setting idle speed in a manual anywhere.

I would expect you to see idle with separate params for idle in P/N and Idle in D.
If you scrolled through the list and they arent there, give us a call.
