Help with Tuning
Help with Tuning
Hey guys. I just got a new Diablo U7193. I was wondering if anyone out there can help with tuning my vehicle. I have an 05 Z71 crew cab with 77 K&N and I have also taken the muffler off. I understand I can not log data and I will have a hard time getting the data while driving. I have driven about 60 miles and have not seen an increase in MPGs. Do I need to wait until more miles are driven to see this? Also is there a tune that I should start with? And finally, how would I do a custom tune without logging data?
RE: Help with Tuning
I have an 04 z71 with the 5.3 so i'm assuming you also have the 5.3. I'm currently running the 87 tune till i kill this tank of gas. I turned the first two torque management options to off and left the third one on. I changed the shit quickness around %10 quicker. I also changed the top speed limiter to the highest setting. I have my injection slope set to -6. I'm not exactly sure what else but those should get you going for now.
I also have an afe stage 2 intake and duals

I read on here that increasing the shift quickness actually does nothing but i may be wrong.
I havn't drove the truck back at the stock settings in a while so i can't really tell anymore

no, it does something. It increases the line pressure to shift faster. Just unload it once and you'll see the difference. Shifting faster helps keep the clutch pack cooler.
