120 HP in LBZ?

Post by tim_hinz »

Has anyone on here tried the 120HP mode on an 06 LBZ? I'd like to try it, but my brother tried it on his 05 and it limped the tranny. Just wondering if I should be expecting the same result?

Shouldnt be a problem as long as you are not towing...but it does make an a$$ load of torque...

120 hp is all that I run. I do have a 5 inch turbo back exhaust and the BD exhaust manifold. Never had any problems. Would not suggest without an after market exhaust.

I also run the 120 Tune. Some say you will limp the tranny on 120, but I have also heard of guys limping the tranny on the 65 Tune.

It all depends on how you drive your truck.
