new stock motor

Post by baychef »

so we had some difficulty with my previous motor according to my service warranty inspector it was a wrist pin fail , so moving on i was able to obtain an L83 same year as mine used but with only 12k documented miles, so heres my question i plan on disabling afm but will not be deleting lifters, cam etc ive already received the custom lew tune for previous motor what needs to be done to new one to diable and install custom tune

thank you

The AFM/DOD is already disabled in the custom tune... If you're not changing the ECM/TCM modules, you don't have to do anything.... you should still have the custom tunes installed and you'd be good to go... as long as the engine swap/install goes fine, and everything gets reconnected correctly where it should be, heh...
