Difference between 8225DS & 8225-R

Does anyone know the difference between the 8225-DS & the 8225-R? I saw a 8225-DS for sale that is supposed to fit the same trucks as the 8225-R does? 2019-2022 Chevy Silverado

The official part number is 8225-R.... if you saw one online somewhere with 8225-DS, then that's probably just that site's/store's part number they're using...

I replied to your email 4 days ago with info... And once I get that form back filled out with the info I need, I can send you a long email about the programmer, link to my package deal (my package deal includes my custom tuning at a discount), info about the custom tuning, etc...

If you purchase the programmer elsewhere, then it would be my regular full cost of $250 for my custom tuning...

Thanks Lew. I was getting ready to purchase the I3 and a buddy of mine told me he new someone who purchased one of the kits I needed. I talked to him and he said he purchased it off your web site. He sent me a picture of his kit. It all looked like it was there but the box that the I3 was in had that 8225 DS or maybe D5 on it. Thats why I threw out the question on here.

-DS is the device sku, used internally, its not something you can order. 8225-R is what you need and it includes an 8225-DS in the kit.
