idle speed

Post by mustangrg »

Hi, I have a Predator U7146, loaded the Diablo tune in my Mustang GT 2004, 5 speed. It works great. I have modified the parameters for Traction and Axle ratio, no problem. Now I want to lower the Idle speed at neutral, but that option does not come up, I only have the idle speed in drive option. I did select the Manual transmission in the options.

Please tell me how to lower the Idle speed?

Thank you,
Rene.

Manual trans cars/trucks usually only have one idle adjustment, auto trans have P/N and Drive.
Pretty sure if you just lower the idle speed in drive it will lower your idle speed while in gear and in neutral.

Tried min. value of 400 and max. value of 1200, it loads into car correctly, but my idle speed does not change.
Please help.

Having same problem here....tried changing in auto trans setting but still idles high. In the options screen you scroll down till you come to trans settings, here you can select auto or manual....even though I select manual, it still shows auto when in parameter adjust screen....very strange.

Rene, I see the issue. This will need to be handled when we do the next revision which might take some time. If idle adjustment is necessary you can shoot me an email and I can take the Predator tune, make an adjustment for you and you can load it as a custom tune.
