06 C6 Vette Trans Management??

Thank you for your message but the product description on the DiabloSport website may NOT be misunderstood!

In fact, the official website indicate these U7194 Specific Features for Chevrolet Corvette C6 2007 (one year ago and nowadays!!): http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?mo ... lay&pid=98

In particular, in the TM section yon can read "%Torque Reduction vs RPM:
Torque reduction as a function of RPM, turning it off in conjunction with TM abuse mode time limit and upshift torque reduction will eliminate torque management".

As you know the TM elimination is more important for the automatic transmission... I want just to ELIMINATE, not only reduce, the TM. HP Tuners allow to do it since C6 A6 was sold by GM, also distinguishing TM elimination for upshift and for downshift. So it's possible to have total control on automatic transmission settings.

So I think that it isn't good for customer satisfaction that DiabloSport tells to its customers that a product can do somethng if it can't. And it's even worst when the customer support tells to its customers that it will be able to do this thing SOON and then it repeats the same thing after 3 months and then after other 3 months and then... one year has gone! The customers are furios and they also have gone... to the main competitor.

that info is NOT U7194 specific... that is generic info on how to adjust parameters and it is linked to from ALL GM predator pages... some predators have all of those features/adjustments, some do not...

your specific features are listed here on the U7194 product page - and tranny/TM adjustments is not one of them: http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?mo ... lay&pid=83

TM is removed from the engine side of things in the canned tunes already...

That page clearly states that not all parameters are available for all part numbers. Like Monte said, our specific features are listed on the page he linked. My only question is why does it say:

All standard DiabloSport Predator features

What exactly are those....

But anyway, I'd get hp tuners if i were you, download the predator tune, uninstall it, and sell it. Then load up the predator tune with hp tuners, and eliminate the TM like you want. Good luck though keeping that trans in one piece though... Probably part of the reason the predaotr doesn't do it...

yeah

they probably mean All standard features are the things like: they all have dyno tested canned tunes, can hold/store custom tunes, can adjust parameters in the tunes, can backup your original/stock tune, get custom tunes from CMR dealers saved and installed into your vehicle, The power increase in the lower RPMs will yield a better throttle response. The increase in MPG is a byproduct of maximized engine efficiency, the improved timing curve and air/fuel ratio creates a more complete combustion... etc etc etc ...

if it hurts your feelings THAT much, you can always take your shit to a dyno and have it professionally tuned, it normally runs around $400...and TM can be taken off with EFIlive or HPtuners... your pocket book can handle it!

just look up your local dyno shop, and make an appointment... you will surely see gains of 15-20rwhp+ and get a bit better response, mileage, and TM reduced or completely gone.

Friday is my brother's birthday and the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of my purchase of the Predator with the promise of trans tuning by JUNE 2007.......STILL NOTHING GUYS??????????????????????????????????

Soon I guess it is a relative Kind of really annoying.. I will be writing up my experience on this whole thing in the next issue of the Kaleidoscope, our monthly corvette magazine...Goes to press next week. I am the editor, so no issues "reporting truth (or Non) in advertising. Too bad as wel, since I really pushed our CA corvette folks that the p-readator was great (when I had a C5 that is)

This has been a ridiculous "Misadventure" for me and my brother who was the recipient of the Corvette tuner with the promise of trans management by JULY 2007 !!!!

I currently have Diablo tuning in my 2004 Mercury Marauder with a ProCharger simply because it was supplied with the kit!! I have had many issues and had it not been for Scott Beer I would have thrown the Diablo tuner away long ago!!

I will gladly take a $200 refund for this Corvette tuner and move on since it is very apparent I (we) have been lied to for A YEAR NOW!!!!

I am very unhappy with Diablo and unless something happens quickly (no more hollow promises)....I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM THESE GUYS AGAIN!!!
