Tune "settling in"

Post by shawn426 »

Quick newbie question, maybe it's stupid? :p

But do new tunes have to "settle in"? I've heard this said before about tunes needing a day or two to adjust and they'll become better adjusted to the car, make more power, run smoother etc. Reason why I'm asking is that should I adjust tune, then wait a day or so to record a new datalog or retune, then record a cruise/WOT run like 10 minutes after?

a drive to let fuel trims settle before logging is a good idea.
