Custom tuning

I just ordered the predator for my 05 silverado Z71 5.3 and was wandering if I could get a custom tune directly from Diablo? I was hoping I could load 2 custom tunes into the predator and use them instead of the factory tunes that come in predator. One for a mileage tune and one for power. Would it make a big difference in power and MPG? My only modifications are a Volant CAI w/ ram air and some MSD wires/NGK plugs. Thanks.

nope, you can only have 1 custom tune loaded in the predator...

and you don't need a custom tune for just a CAI anyway, you can make the necessary adjustments yourself to get the fueling dialed in correctly...

I dont have any experience with tuning and would like to have one of the Diablo guys looks at my logs and see if there is more I can squeeze out of it. Ive read several posts on other forums that said they get free custom tunes from diablo whenever they want, that was part of the reason I bought the thing. I understand what your saying about not needing one for just an intake but Ive read that people have gotten better gains when it was custom tuned from the guys at Diablo.

nope, you can only have 1 custom tune loaded in the predator......

The Predator can hold up to 5 custom tunes made by any CMR dealer(On the bottom of the page under the U7193).

Does this just apply for CMR tunes??? When I get my E85 tune, I can't have that with the modified 91 tune stored in the predator at the same time? How is the modified tune different from the CRM tune? Thanks.

yeah, I wouldn't go by that... it says the same thing for my U7191.. . but it's not correct/true.
