Since it has been over a month since I was asked to post my tunes and 3 weeks since I followed up I am going to assume that no further help is coming. Thank you for your attempts to correct my issue thus far.
I purchased this tuner for 1 purpose only: to increase the idle rpm for the purpose of preventing the cam and lifter failure that can happen on these motors. It has achieved this however with the need to run with the ac compressor on all the time in order for the adjusted idle to work.
I would like suggest though that you create a knowledgebase of issues and corrections that you encounter that is searchable by your technicians. When I first encountered this problem I did a google search and very quickly found this thread. My thought at that time was "Oh these guys have dealt with this problem in the past and have a fix. This will be no problem". It is extremely frustrating to be told that my idle problem can not be corrected when in March of 2019 this same issue was successfully fixed for the original poster of this thread. As a matter of fact I had to provide the link to this thread and another on this forum to your technical staff as they told me originally that they had never heard of this condition before. I could understand it if this thread was located in a Ram or Hemi forum elsewhere but the fact that it was in your own support forum suggest that you should at least be aware of it.
Please don't take this suggestion the wrong way. I am not trying to be passive aggressive or smart assy here. I think you have a great product and your I believe your support guys did the best they could and were very professional. If you at some point re-discover the fix to this issue I would appreciate it if you would reach out.
Regards

Re: Low idle problem
apologies, i havent had time to go through this.
This file has some minimum idle speed functions raised which should help.
Load it up with no other changes and let me know if it does what you expect.
Thanks

Re: Low idle problem
With the AC running this tune works perfectly. With the AC off the idle drops to 500 upon a complete stop every time. About 50% of the time the idle will jump up to the adjusted setting after about a second. The other 50% it will stay at 500. I have been trying to test this under different conditions to see if there is a pattern to the instances where it stays at 500 rpm rather than jump up but I can not see any. As you suggested I loaded this with no other modifications made. I also fully returned to stock prior to loading.

Re: Low idle problem
interesting.
please reload the tune then post the last tune written file from the device so we can check it out.

Re: Low idle problem
Here it is. I reloaded the tune (did not restore before reloading). Behaviour is the same.
Thanks again.

Re: Low idle problem
I have tested this latest tune for a couple weeks now and its 99% of the way there. This is the best one by far.
AC on works as always. 850 idle in P/N and also in D.
AC off works much better. 850 idle in P/N and about 50% of the time at full stop in drive. The previous tune would drop to 500 then sometimes spring up to 850 but this tune doesn't do that it just stays there which is nicer.
The other 50% with AC off it drops down at full stop BUT it doesn't drop to 500 rpm like it did. It drops to 650 rpm, every time. AT 650 rpm my oil pressure stays at 52psi rather than dropping to 40 psi as it does at 500 rpm (this is verified on my Autometer mechanical gauge).
I am not sure if this increase in the "drop down" rpm was something you intended or just a happy accident. If this was done purposefully by you guys then I would ask if it is not too much trouble to give me one more custom tune with that drop down increased by 100 rpm to 750 (I have since reduced my p/n idle to 750 as I find that works best for me) and change nothing else as I am very happy with how it works.
If the dropdown was a happy accident then I will say that I am very happy with this tune and I thank you very much for your efforts.
Best Regards

Re: Low idle problem
i bumped a few 'min idle rpm' scalars and added 200 rpm to a few tables that are not normally used.
I'll poke around for anything that might be letting it drop to 650 and bump it if i find it.
