2023 Ram 1500 classic Warlock/ PCM and Handheld question

So Buddy finally got his Intune I3 and unlocked PCM, installed it and we ran onto a few issues.

1) He didn't know you were supposed to read the stock PCM first and removed it, installed the unlocked PCM and tried to tune that.

2) Upon attempting to tune the unlocked PCM, it didn't give him the option to tune, there wasn't any tunes loaded it only offered to modify stock tune, he tried updating the handheld 2 times. Same result.

3) It doesn't APPEAR to be still married to anything but for some reason it has custom tunes for a nitrous F150 and a C6 written on it, but no 'tuned vehicle information' VIN showed in the menus.

So did he mess anything up by not reading the stock PCM first and then installing unlocked PCM and tried tuning it? Is it still married to something else and we're unaware? He's phoned Diablosport and they said they would get back to him in 48 hours but I thought I'd post here to cover all our bases and see if we can get a perhaps more comprehensive response. the truck wont run with the unlocked pcm without reading the original first, as you have to write that data to the unlocked pcm for it to function in the vehicle.
will need to start over.
Did our team reset the device when you called in?

I don't know where you are seeing f150 or C6 tunes, other than to assume you are seeing the sample logs in Dataviewer?
