Option to change throttle body settings on i3?

Post by NuggetHugger »

I was just curious, i recently installed a 90mm throttle body. i came from an 85mm without any issues but now i keep getting a check engine light for the throttle body being limited. is there an option in the tune settings to tell it what size throttle body i have? Outside of getting a custom tune of course. im currently running the 91 octane tune with MDS and Auto Start/Stop disabled.
*Edit* I do have the ability to perform a etc relearn but that only solves the issue for a short time.
My vehicle is a 2019 ram 1500 DT with the included bypass installed.
Yes, I know a bigger throttle body like that is overkill too. :-)

no, that change will require a custom tune for proper operation.
note that some aftermarket TBs will have similar issues even when properly tuned....brand is key.
