Hello!
My T2 times out whenever I try Wi-Fi setup. I had it set up previously.
I updated successfully using Update Agent, but it still times out on Wi-Fi Setup.
Check for Updates returns an error message that lets me choose WiFi setup, which times out at Gathering WiFi Information.
Currently installed modules:

databases-gui

fails on the same network each time, or have you tried more than one network?

Re: WiFi Setup times out
I've tried it away from all WiFi networks, and it still times out, but the situation has changed. Now. whether or not I'm in WiFi range, trying to access the gauges yields a screen in an endless loop, which states:
TURN IGNITION ON OR PUT INTO RUN MODE
DO NOT START THE ENGINE!
PRESS SCREEN TO CONTINUE
It's just not fair to get more problems when I haven't dealt with the first one yet!

Re: WiFi Setup times out
Yes, I've been using the gauges for a year, and changing them occasionally.
I thought that it might be a communication issue, but the readiness test works.

Re: WiFi Setup times out
could it be that something is touching the screen forcing it into a menu?
Might be good to call our team, 561-908-0040 and let them troubleshoot it.

Re: WiFi Setup times out
I've been using the same rear mount since I installed it, and there's nothing else touching the case or screen. I'm able to navigate through the other menus normally.
Thanks for the recommendation, I'll give support a call in the morning.
I appreciate your help.

Re: WiFi Setup times out
Good news, everyone!
While browsing the Settings menu, I came across the entry "Restore Default PIDs."
So, for no reason other than it was there, I used it, and lo and behold, the gauge screen now loads and operates. So that's one problem resolved.
Now, I have to rebuild my gauge screens from scratch, and my goodness, you guys have been busy! There are many dozens of new PIDs that I've never seen.
In the past, I have gone through the PIDs offered and made my own list. That wasn't so bad when there were only a couple hundred of them. A typical record that I generated looks like this:
So if there happens to be a list available, it would sure save me a lot of work!
I then had the thought that "Restore Default Settings" might make the WiFi settings screen work again, but that didn't work, so I'm still going to call support in the morning. Nice try, though.

Re: WiFi Setup times out
I called tech support. A woman told me not to use WiFi on the device.
Truly an interesting solution.
Edit: Part of the conversation was on the order of:
"Why do you want to use WiFi?"
"Normal updates, for the sake of good order."
"Don't do that. There is no need for updates."
