T2 not powering up

Post by CRNevils »

I purchased a T2/ECM for my Dodge Challenger a few months ago. When it started getting hot outside, the suction cup mount kept falling off the windshield. Not sure if this is what caused the problem, but my T2 stopped working one day. It’s fairly new. I inspected the cable and ports. The T2 works fine on my computer, however, it doesn’t power up when I plug it into the car. After further inspection, it seems like the HDMI port on the T2 could be possibly damaged. The piece inside the HDMI port appears to be slopped. I’m thinking the HDMI port could have been damaged when falling from my windshield. That’s just my thoughts. I know it’s not the OBD-II port because my code reader works fine, the T2 works fine when plugged to the computer, and the cable is practically brand new. Is there somewhere I can have this repaired. It’s really too new and too expensive to be breaking or malfunctioning this easy. I do need to get this repaired though. I just don’t know where to send it. Thanks
