Upgrade pcm swap to purchase

Post by The beast 1500 »

If I want to keep my factory pcm instead of turning it in, how does that work? Will holly just charge me or do I have to contact them? My reason is my update hasn't gone as advertised and I don't trust the pcm I received.
Secondly can I have my factory pcm unlocked and use my currant tuner on it?

we do 100s of pcm swaps every week, what dont you trust about it?

You can call us and arrange to send your factory pcm for unlock vs doing the swap, no problem.

Just because you guys do a ton of swaps each week doesn't mean they are dependable. I wanna keep my stock PCM and keep it locked so when I sell my truck or if I have any more issues with my swap PCM, which still isn't fixed, I don't wanna be stuck without my truck working. I've also read hundreds of stories of these swaps going sideways.

It's like having a spare tire. I would rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.
