2006 GMT-800 (Silverado 1500 Z71 5.3/4L60). Truck was 10/10 on Thursday night. Everything worked 100% perfectly. Connected T2 and began Diablo tune, tuner began read and detected aftermarket radio (yes, I know now). Disconnected everything. Turned truck to off position, removed radio completely and began process all over again. Tune was installed successfully, and truck runs fine; HOWEVER, Radio turns itself on and off for no apparent reason and has no sound ever, all dash warning lights randomly illuminate including message for "service 4x4", A/C does not work anymore, all gauges except tach and speedo read zero, until they randomly read accurate and drop back to zero, pwr windows generally do not work, pwr door locks randomly cycle while driving down the road...one caveat, there seems to be a speed issue. At less than 65 MPH, everything is broke 90% of the time. At over 65 MPH, windows seem to work, A/C seems to work, gauges tend to work more frequently than not. HELP!!
If all of this had not started immediately after starting truck post-tune, I would be chasing grounds and ECU issues, but having had zero issues prior, and all of this 5 seconds after starting the truck post-tune, I am confident they are related.
T2 GMT-800 issues after tune

Re: T2 GMT-800 issues after tune
Did you run the Update Agent program on your pc/laptop and update your Trinity to all of the latest updates/fixes first??
Did you restore the original backup stock tune back to the truck and see if all of those issues go away??? If not, then it's not a tune issue... could have to do with radio wiring from when it was disconnected and reconnected?? tune wouldn't affect the radio at all, heh... that has nothing to do with the PCM/engine/tranny... that'd be part of the BCM - body control module, or it's own Entertainment module... neither of which the programmer can access at all or do anything to...

Re: T2 GMT-800 issues after tune
UPDATE:
Yes, auto agent had been run and updated 30 minutes prior to attempting tune installation.
I disconnected the battery and grounded all modules to ensure complete reset; no change to conditions.
I restored to factory and rest all models again; no change in condition.
As a final "guess", I removed the radio and interface module completely and reset all of the modules; truck is back to prior to tune conditions...except I have no radio now. Plugging the radio module back in restarts all of the dash shenanigans.
I don't know how or why, but starting the tune process with the radio interface still connected caused the programmer to corrupt the radio interface which is now causing all sorts of problems with the BCM. The fix is obviously to replace the interface and hope that the BCM was not actually damaged to the point plugging in a new interface will not cause the same issues. Fingers crossed
Diablosport, as this is a known issue (once you search online enough), I would think BOLD, LARGE FONT INSTUCTIONS should state to remove all aftermarket radio components prior to installing the Diablosport, or better yet, a warning screen you have to prompt through prior to getting to the "tune" page.

Re: T2 GMT-800 issues after tune
this sounds like the BCM is angry, but we do not talk to the BCM at all.
We advise pulling fuses only because there can be communication interruptions if left in place during the flash, which can lead to a failed flash process. It has nothing to do with protecting the bcm or avoiding issues that you describe here.
I dont know that this is a known issue by any means, as in 19 years of doing this, i have never heard anything reported like what you are describing as related to tuning a vehicle.

Re: T2 GMT-800 issues after tune
Not a tune issue... The issue is with your BCM or the Entertainment module for the radio... neither of which the programmer can access or do anything to at all... So it's not a tune issue... I've literally tuned thousands of these trucks over the years...
But strange things can happen on those older trucks if you don't disconnect anything aftermarket first...
Anything aftermarket installed in the vehicle, i.e anything that did not come from the factory, needs to be disconnected before trying to install a tune...
You need to make sure anything aftermarket is disconnected/pull the fuse for - anything like aftermarket stereo, subs, amps, nav, alarm, remote start, seat heaters, trailer brake/light setup, etc.. anything like that, their wiring harnesses need to be disconnected/pull the fuses for it before you try to tune anything... ----- The issue is that aftermarket stuff like that taps into the ignition wires for power, and that interferes with the communication from the programmer to the PCM and you will get errors...
also make sure everything is turned off inside the truck.. lights, radio, heat/fan/blower, do not operate power windows, put your parking brake on, all doors closed, etc...
Have to have the key turned to ON position, but engine not started/running...
Also, if you have low voltage like from a weak battery in the truck, that can also cause tune install issues.. so make sure your truck battery is fully charged...
