Some direction with my 11 Tahoe LT…. Please!

Post by Gator11TahoeLT »

Hey, so after a bumpy start, not much advice from elsewhere about my I3, I’m hoping to get some advice on specs.
I have a 11 Tahoe LT I’ve been trying to find info for recommendations where to set my parameters at on a sport Tune.
I feel like I’m doing more harm than learning while trying to figure out where everything should be set at on tune.
From ECM to TCM. I’m coming up short of a great start and really need a idea, or reference as to a start, to finish of a solid tune. I’m not well with technical support via manuals. Was hoping before I lose heart, to chat with someone with a little time, about settings in all categories to help me get my Girl sounding and performing better.
I’d get a custom tune made for my truck and my hopes but… I’m a broke pop, of 4 financially destructive kids. I just wanna enjoy a ride to work and back to the shit show (home). It’s my 30 minutes daily to escape in my TRUCK to happy places, before reality clocks in.

Just need a good solid tune to start off with.
Help…. Please… I just wanna go a bit faster and louder with a smile😃😬😳

the right answer is to load the tune as we developed it and enjoy. Its gonna be tough to outdo what we developed across multiple vehicles on the dyno. That said, there could be some left on the table.
If you want more, you really need to do some datalogging and determine if the fueling is in-line (fuel trims) and if its happy with timing (no knock) from there, you can try adding a bit of timing until you see KR, and adjust fueling if needed.

Other than that, disable AFM, set cooling fans a little lower if you have added a cooler t-stat, and let it rip.
