Backing up Factory Tune on a T2

I have a T2 Platinum EX from my 2019 Challenger Scatpack. I purchased an additional license so I can use it for my 2021 Hellcat Redeye Super Stock. I'm having trouble backing up my factory tune from my locked factory PCM. I'd like a backup before I order an unlocked PCM just in case something goes wrong. I've installed the bypass cable from under the glove box and ran it to my OBD port plugged in the tuner. I can't seem to remember if there is a process I need to follow to get it to read a locked PCM or not. Any help would be appreciated.
