I gave a diablo sport tune on my 2015 GMC Sierra. I did the 87 octane tune and disabled AFM. And did the Firm shift transmission selection.
My question is What parameters did this tune change? As far as the firm shift goes, what did it change?
I have a friend that owns a Transmission shop that say’s i should have the transmission lockup in 5th and 6th gear and to zero out slip. Does anything I have done do this and is it possible to do anything like this with tuner? Or do I need to go another route to do this? I have the Diablo 8200 in tune 3.
What parameters are set with tune.

Re: What parameters are set with tune.
The tunes adjust timing, fueling, throttle settings, and torque management for the most part.
The stock trans cal calls for lockup in 5-6, we leave that alone and simply add some shift pressures to reduce slippage.
