PCM

Post by Freno679 »

I just purchased the predatorx and am now waiting for the new pcm. Will I need the new pcm before I can change light settings for dtrl and fog lights? Thanks

Thanks. I ask because I don’t see options for lighting control and a few others. When updating the predatorx it said I had 95 updates but the Durango will shut power off after around half an hour. So I keep losing Bluetooth connection with the unit. Can I update the unit with the vehicle running? I’m assuming I may see those options after it updates. Correct me if I’m wrong please. I’m new to all this.

what year is the Durango? It wont necessarily have a ton of lighting controls like the DT Rams.

You can update the dongle anytime through the phone app. Please give our team a call if its not updating as expected.

It’s a 2020 Durango rt. I don’t think I’m having trouble updating it. It’s just taking awhile and the car will shut itself off after a half hour then I lose my Bluetooth connection with it so the update doesn’t finish. That’s why I was wondering if the vehicle could be running during the update. I was just hoping for the daytime running lights option because I have no way of shutting mine off through the uconnect. I believe my vehicle was originally in Canada. Thanks

it should not time out if you leave the door open, have you tried that?

It still shuts down after awhile even with the door open. I think everything is fine. I was just hoping to have options for shutting my dtrl off and no fog light dropout.

Great! That would be to have those options. Another thing I was wondering. Is it normal to lose cruise control functionality after installing the 91 octane tune, mds shut off and throttle booster turned on? Today was the first day I was in the highway and my cruise doesn’t turn on anymore. Not too worried about it. Just wondering. Thanks

I have the options to make adjustments to tire size. I never used them though.
