We installed stock non-AFM cam and lifters in our 2008 Chevy Tahoe work truck. Not a hot rod.
Just trying to delete DOD/AFM with the Diablo InTune i3.
Getting through the menus to AFM Delete, select "Off" and nothing happens. No "Continue" or other verification. If I go back, it just repeats the same.
Am I missing something?
2008 GM 5.3 AFM Delete?
Re: 2008 GM 5.3 AFM Delete?
you need to select the preset ECM tune you want to install...
then choose to Modify it...
go to the AFM/DOD setting and disable it/turn it off...
Then exit back out from the Modify Tune menu..
Then you need to install/apply the tune...
and that will reinstall the preset ECM tune with the AFM/DOD setting disabled...

Re: 2008 GM 5.3 AFM Delete?
Since you've already installed a non-AFM cam and lifters, I'd double-check that the InTune i3 is communicating properly with the vehicle and that you're using the correct calibration for your 2008 Tahoe. It might also be worth checking whether the AFM delete option requires any additional confirmation or a specific tune configuration before it can be applied. If selecting "Off" simply returns you to the same menu, I would contact DiabloSport support with your device and vehicle details. Did you update the i3's firmware before trying to make this change?
