newbie, srt8 lost 5hp to the tire

I noticed a significant drop in power with the predator 93 cai tune installed on my charger srt as well. I have no dyno results for i did my test runs on a quarter mile track called champion speedway out of medford oregon. I ran a few runs without tune installed and averaged around 13.6. I than installed the 93 cai canned tune and ran consistent in the high 14's i then tweaked the shift time a little to discover i was again running close to 13.6. Canned tune is inferior to stock preformance of vehicle for what I'm seeing. Is this a regular occurence now that im seeing someone else with this issue or are some of the u7135's having issues

I am 99.999% sure that KR is the issue here, for sure.
Only cars that do not pick up power are cars with KR issues, and once they are sorted out, the power will come!!

I find it strange that KR had not being looked at when tuning this or trying to diagnose. Very strange. IMO I would find another shop or tuner. What area are you in.

My car had almost the same story, but I agree guys the a/f ratio seems wrong PA, you need your money back and need to find a more talented CMR Tuner. When we did the CMR Tune I used 92 octane Costco gas because I wanted to have them do me a custom tune with something reasonable not some gas I needed to pay a premium for. So the Diablo 91oct CAI tune gave us 380hp (but if feels better!), the stock program gave us an amazing 383 hp (but felt really wierd with the CAI), but he finally got 393 hp with a CMR Custom tune. Now this gets interesting, I don't want to start a bunch of static on this post but, I returned and we filled the car with E-85 (these guys are really talented CMR tuners and have a full race shop; they also convert/program Corvettes/Mustangs off road use only right?) and we extracted 407 hp with an amazing 419 ft-lb of torque on the E-85! He had to do some really fancy software changes within the CMR parameters to get this thing to work. Apparently a Corvette needs a new fuel delivery system, but our injectors are large enough to use with some weird programming. I can tell you that program is so strong, there are some days I want to put in the gas and change back because the rear tires just can't understand the power it delivers in 1st gear. We did not try the 93 CAI Diablo program because the gas did not have enough octane from Costco and we were getting about 5 degrees of ST KR initally. But the 93 CAI program seems to be used by everyone with good gas and they get great power.
